What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic is an alternative health care profession that focuses on diagnosis and treatment for disorder of the musculoskeletal system as well as spinal problems, under the belief that these symptoms would have effects on general health, especially neck pain and back pain, of an individual. 

  Usually, doctors of chiropractic, often referred to Chiropractors, will first asses a patient through clinical examination, and undergoing few diagnoses on patient’s symptoms, to determine whether or not a chiropractic treatment is appropriate. Chiropractors emphasize a drug-free treatment for the neuromusculoskeletal system. Without the use of medicines, chiropractors are trained to adjust and relocate a musculoskeletal area which is functioning improperly through hands-on healing, at the same time recommending patient therapeutic and rehabilitative exercises and providing healthy lifestyle counseling. 

  The most common treatment used in chiropractic care is “Spinal Manipulation”. It is a therapy in which trained chiropractors use their hands or sometimes with the aid of instrument to apply a controlled, sudden force on a disorder spinal joint.  This kind of chiropractic adjustment intends to correct vertebral subluxations, which is a slight dislocation of two adjoining segment of the spine. When chiropractic care is employed skillfully and appropriately, it is safe and effective to cure a number of health problems, and it is rarely causes discomfort.
